The process involves taking hot-rolled steel and subjecting it to further processing to achieve cold-rolled steel. Here are the steps:
The hot-rolled coils undergo pickling to remove impurities.
The pickled coils are fed into the tandem cold rolling mill.
The output from the tandem mill is cooled and then subjected to electrolytic cleaning.
The coils are annealed in a furnace.
The final product obtained is Cold Rolled Closed Annealed (CRCA) coils.
